Vintage Woods, Inc. makes big moves in Gypsum, Colorado.

Vintage Woods, Inc.of Gypsum, Colorado has a new home with fantastic new capabilities. The new location features more square footage, a state-of-the-art shop, and beautiful showroom. Clients will now have the opportunity to see, feel and experience what Vintage Woods has to offer.

To top all of this off is a finely appointed showroom, featuring many different options in siding, beam-work and now also engineered wood flooring. Colors, textures, species all are on display to truly get a feel for the look of the product. Lots more leaping…..Leap Dance Studio covers Denver with opportunities for young ones

I had previously posted about the fantastic ballet class that my daughter attends through Leap Dance Studio. I am now pleased to say that I have had the opportunity to photograph almost all of the classes that Leap offers at all three of their locations around Denver. The locations Scheitler Rec Center in Northwest Denver, Cook Park Rec Center in south-east Denver and Central Park Rec Center in Stapleton give families many choices for children to pursue their favorite dance styles. Creative movement for the little ones, ballet, tap and hip-hop are all offered by the wonderful instructors at Leap.

As this semester comes to a close all of the classes are very busy preparing for the final recital. The excitement and dedication from the young dancers is amazing and the production should be fantastic.

Blasting Beat & Raging Rythmn…..Big Kids Music Tour drums up fun with Mile High Music.

If you happen down Tennyson Street on a Wednesday afternoon you may be walking to the beat of a different drummer or drummers as the case may be. Mile High Music holds their Big Kids Music Tour at their facility in the north Highlands neighborhood. This class is focusing on drums and the group of 5-10 year old are definitely finding their rhythm and beating up a storm. Miss Melissa, their instructor leads this enthusiastic crew as they explore, learn, dance and beat their way through each class.

Please note that this is a drop off class and parents may only enviously watch the fun from the waiting room.

Edge Restaurant & Bar…..Four Seasons Hotel, Denver

I was recently asked to photograph the staff of Edge Restaurant & Bar in the Four Seasons Hotel, Denver for their 2011 Holiday Card. The main shot was to take place in “The Chef’s Table private dining room”. This dining room is one of three private dining rooms in Edge and features a floor-to-ceiling wall of glass bringing the action of the kitchen to the dining table.

When I arrived the staff was putting the finishing touches on an overflowing table of vegetables, cheeses, fish and meats. It was literally a potpourri of ingredients for all desires of fine dining, including two live lobsters! The colors and shapes made for a wonderfully brilliant foreground. For a background element, another member of the kitchen staff tirelessly pored very flammable liquid on the kitchen’s custom grill creating awesome flames.

The shoot turned out to be loads of fun with a very animated crew of Chefs and Front of the House Managers. They are definitely a fun team that are not only extremely skilled at what they do but also know how to have a bit of fun.

Edge Restaurant & Bar is a Denver dining experience not to be missed. Everything on the menu, from soups to salads, seafood to Colorado ranched steaks, are second to none. The staff is professional, courteous and accommodating. The 21 day dry aged Buffalo Rib Eye with Chimichurri Sauce is a must try!
